Sign kids up for summer camp at The Woods

TERRE HAUTE — St. Mary-of-the-Woods College Day Camps combine summer fun with hands-on learning. Children can follow their interests from computers, exploring the environment to learning about horses.

“The camps are designed to help strengthen our community by providing fun-filled experiences for children that build confidence, broaden social skills and encourage independence,” said Vicki Kosowsky, vice president for student life at SMWC.

Each camp is led by qualified instructors and professors. Camps are conducted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 25-27. Before-and after-camp care, lunch and snacks are provided. Girls and boys can make new friends, discover new interests and build self-esteem in one of these day camps:

• Biz Whiz Kids

• Equestrian Camp — Beginner’s Equestrian — Advanced Equestrian

• Leadership Discovery

• Nature at The Woods

• Robotics, Programming and Surprises, Oh My!

Enrollment is limited; registering early is recommended. For more information, email reserve@smwc.edu, call (812) 535-5131 or visit
