The Terre Haute Rex lost 7-1 on Thursday, falling behind 4-0 after the first inning at Bob Warn Field.
Clay Manering took the loss. Nick Johnson went 2 for 4, while Edmund Cheatham was 2 for 3 for the Rex (14-13)
Terre Haute fell into fourth place with the loss, falling five games behind first-place Dubois County. The Rex are now out of contention for the first-half West Division title, which will be crowned after Sunday’s games.
