TERRE HAUTE —
The Terre Haute Rex lost 7-4 on Wednesday at Danville, falling to 9-4 in the second half of the Prospect League schedule.
The Rex maintain a two-game lead on first place in the West Division.
Clay Manering took the loss for Terre Haute, striking out eight over five innings, but the lefty gave up a pair of home runs to the Dans.
Nick Johnson paced the Rex offense with two hits as the Rex left eight runners stranded.
Terre Haute plays host to Quincy on Thursday and Friday night at Bob Warn Field, with both games slated to begin at 7:05 p.m.
