Church celebrates pastor’s anniversary

TERRE HAUTE — Second Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor J.S. Barleston Jr.’s first anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The morning service beginning at 11 a.m. will feature special guests Pastor Covington and the congregation of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Indianapolis.

The afternoon service will commence at 4 p.m. featuring special guests Bishop Larry Grinstead and the congregation of Puritan Missionary Baptist Church, also of Indianapolis.

Dinner and fellowship will follow the evening service at Booker T. Washington Community Center at 1101 S. 13th St. Visitors and guests are always welcome to come and magnify the Lord with us each week. Regularly scheduled services are 10 a.m. Sunday School followed by 11 a.m. morning worship and Bible Study lessons taught by Pastor J.S. Barleston Jr. every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
