Sisters invite women to explore religious life

Catholic women ages 18-42 who are seeking to explore religious life are invited to Discernment Weekend hosted by the Sisters of Providence on Nov. 16-18 at St. Mary-of-the-Woods. Registration and welcome is planned for 7:15 p.m. Nov. 16. Saturday’s schedule begins with breakfast, morning prayer and presentation on Common Bonds.

The day continues with Eucharistic Liturgy at 11:30 a.m., followed by dinner, sharing of discernment stories and an opportunity for one-on-one conversation, Eucharistic Liturgy, a tour of the grounds or walking and praying and a reflection on St. Mother Theodore Guerin.

Sunday’s program features breakfast, small-group sharing with time for questions and answers, prayer in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Eucharistic Liturgy, dinner and wrap-up and evaluation.
