TERRE HAUTE —
All 18 elementary schools in Vigo County were able to submit names of three to five families from their school that need the most help for the holiday season.
Each child filled out a wish list that consists of three items that don’t exceed $30. The community can get involved by sponsoring a child, making a blanket or making a monetary donation. All gifts need to be in by Friday.
On Dec. 20, a large party is planned in The Kings Harvest Foursquare church at 1801 Harding, across from the bus station. Each family will leave with a food basket, two bags full of household cleaning supplies and toiletries. Each child will have gifts, a stocking and a new blanket.
