The Sisters of Providence will have their annual Bake Sale on Sunday in Providence Center at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
Many sisters spend several weeks preparing fresh breads, pies, cakes, cookies, fudge, candy, jam and jellies for sale. The annual bake sale attracts many visitors to the grounds.
Hours for the bake sale are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The public also is welcome to attend the Eucharistic Liturgy at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, and Sunday also brunch is available in O’Shaughnessy Dining room in Providence Center.
The Gift shop at Providence Center is open between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The Sisters of Providence will celebrate Thanksgiving Day on Thursday with Eucharistic Liturgy at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Mass is open to the public and to all faith traditions.
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated with the traditional Thanksgiving Day music and readings with the Prayers of the People relating to God’s abundance given to us.
Author to sign books at Open Door
The Rev. Kim Kraemer, pastor of Joy Ministries International Glory House, will sign copies of her new book, “Tickle Me Silly, God,” from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Open Door Christian Bookstore behind Honey Creek Mall.
