Ministry seeks funds for fans

TERRE HAUTE — Covenant Cooperative Ministry is collecting financial contributions to purchase electric fans for the Summer Fan Program. New electric fans also are being accepted. Box fans are preferred but oscillating fans also are appreciated.

“Summer is fast approaching and we know that no other agency is offering free summer fans this summer,” said Rose Aycock, CCM executive director. “CCM has offered summer fans each summer since 2004. It’s very important to be able to provide this program to those who have medical conditions with breathing difficulties and don’t have any other way to combat the heat. We hope this request for donations will have a great response and will enable CCM to purchase 100 new box fans.”

To donate new electric fans, call (812) 478-7700 for more information. Financial contributions to CCM may be mailed or delivered to 122 S. 101⁄2 St., Terre Haute, IN.
