Evangelist to lead revivals at two churches

The Rev. Gary Ickes will be holding an eight-day, two-Sunday revival Jan. 6 to 13 at Independent Nazarene Church in Farmersburg. Ickes is an evangelist and also district home mission coordinator for International Conservative Holiness Association. He began his ministry in 1977, having been ordained by this group.

Ickes lives in Beaver, W. Va. He received his ministerial education through the Bible Covenant College and also through the International Conservative Holiness Association.

In addition to his Bible preaching, Ickes will be singing and playing the guitar every service. The revival is open to the public and all are welcome. The church is located behind the Farmersburg Elementary School.

The Sunday service is at 3 p.m. On weeknights it is at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy good singing and good preaching every service.



In addition, Ickes will be conducting an eight-day, two-Sunday revival Jan. 13-20 at Seelyville Christian Chapel. The church is located in Seelyville, one block south of U.S. 40. The Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. On weeknights, all services will start at 7 p.m.
