Well-known Christian artist Carman to perform Aug. 18 in Charleston

Charleston, Ill. —  



Carman, the well known contemporary Christian artist will perform at 6 p.m. CDT on Aug. 18 at Charleston Community Church in Charleston, Ill.

Carman has sold more than 10 million records and continues to pack concert halls. Tickets are $10 and VIP tickets are $15 which includes a current CD. A love offering will be taken for Carman Ministries. For ticket information call (217) 345-4910 or email c3church@consolidated.net.

Biblical prophecy expert to speak at Mount Pleasant

David Reagan, a former professor of international law and politics and an expert on Middle East politics and biblical prophecy, will speak Aug. 5 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church at 3050 E. Davis Drive.

Reagan’s great passion is Bible prophecy. He is the editor of The Lamplighter magazine, which seeks to teach responsible interpretation of Bible prophecy.

Reagan is the host of Lamb & Lion Ministries’ weekly television program called “Christ in Prophecy,” which is broadcast on numerous Christian networks. His programs deal with the prophetic significance of national and international events and significance of current world events and Biblical prophecy.

Reagan is a graduate of the University of Texas. His graduate degrees were earned in the field of international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and diplomacy at Tufts and Harvard universities.

A native Texan, Reagan’s works have been published in a wide variety of journals and magazines.

Reagan will be speaking during the 8:30 a.m. church service, 10 a.m. Sunday school, 10:45 a.m. church service and 6 p.m. evening service on Aug. 5.
