TERRE HAUTE — Fishers-based Dora Hotel Co. has begun construction on a new Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Terre Haute. The four-story, 83-room hotel is expected to open in the summer of 2010 and will be at the northwest corner of I-70 and Indiana 46 in the Sycamore Terrace Shopping Center near the new Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Sycamore Terrace is anchored by a Walmart Supercenter. Recent additions to the center include a Sonic restaurant and a First Financial Bank branch. Dora Hotel Co. is working with First Financial Bank, which recently approved financing for the project.
Fresh, clean and uncomplicated, Holiday Inn Express Hotels offer modern facilities at competitive rates for both business and leisure travelers. Guests at the Holiday Inn Express Terre Haute will experience a comfortable and smart environment with innovative preferred guest upgrades such as an indoor pool, fitness center, meeting space, guest laundry and Express Start Breakfast bar, including a full range of complimentary breakfast items.
Holiday Inn Express guest rooms will feature comfortable king- or queen-size beds, sitting area with lounge chair, and an in-room coffee maker.
