Thanks to those who gave aid
On Oct. 14, Shirley Osburn and I ate lunch at the MCL Cafeteria with five people from church. Following our lunch Shirley and I were walking across the crosswalk when a pickup truck hit me.
Shirley and several complete strangers came to my aid before the ambulance arrived. A woman, who I never saw, asked if anyone had prayed for me. She said a very nice and meaningful prayer for me. I was especially touched that a complete stranger would be so kind and thoughtful.
Two of the other persons that I had not previously met, David and Tammy Hole, made the effort to find out where I was and came to visit me in Union Hospital a few days later.
I would like to thank all of the thoughtful and kind people of the Terre Haute community who came to my assistance following my accident.

Show the kids that we care
What can the Terre Haute family do for the five children who were allegedly so abused — tortured — by a set of monsters (who I hope never see the light of day again)?
Nobody matters but the children, and I hope our community will step up and make their pain a little less by giving the children a wonderful Christmas.
I would contribute and I’m sure many people in Terre Haute would, too. Let’s stand together and show these children that they are loved and wanted by this community.
