Exceptional choice for County Council

Community spirit: A phrase adopted by many, but authored by one.

It is an idea which some of us live by and others are still trying to define, at least by our experiences. With that, it is certainly a concept we should all adopt. We like to define its meaning by saying it is the belief that together we choose to make decisions which better our community today, but more importantly enhance the opportunities for our future.

We care most about our future because we recently decided to expand our family. The opportunities can be and should be individually identified, because that is what makes our community attractive to us all. We believe community spirit should be part of the mold of an exceptional government leader with the vision to identify the importance of community. We can’t imagine someone knowing its importance more than the author of the phrase which has caught our attention in recent years.

We love Terre Haute and plan to raise our child here with all of the opportunities in the world right at his doorstep.

In case you were wondering who authored this phrase, it was Rick Burger. We think Rick Burger would be an exceptional member of County Council.
