The Donald may be rich, but he’s still acting like a chump

TERRE HAUTE — Donald Trump is a chump. Or maybe it’s us … for making him bigger than he need be.

In America, we use dollar signs that mark a person’s worth. And that may be true. But to use those same dollar signs to judge how smart a person is … is a very large mistake.

Having a larger pile of money than most other people can be based on the fact that Grandpa left you the farm, or you got lucky in early dealings which led to even more money, but none of this makes you smarter than most other people.

It may say in your particular business area you are smart, but it does not make you a King Solomon (according to Jewish tradition, the smartest king Israel ever had). It just means you have more money.

Donald, with his wife or girlfriend of the month, his foppish hair-do, and those God-awful neon ties he wears, could be a force of good in our country. Instead, he’s just acting like a chump.

His ranting and raving on CNN with Wolf Blitzer the other day was a case in point. Almost every Republican has given up the idea that the sitting president was born a foreigner, not an American. Documentation proves the fact that President Obama was born an American.Donald, who made a big thing out of this when he was making his short-lived attempt to become the Republican nominee, just can’t move off of the only point he had in his campaign.

Rich he is… and chump he is as well.
