Lee A. Highsmith, 47, of Terre Haute, passed away on Nov. 25, 2009, at 11:45 a.m. in Union Hospital. He was born on July 31, 1962, to Ralph E. Highsmith and Mary M. McFarland in Vigo County.
He is survived by a wife, Carrie Kuehn Highsmith; his mother; four sons, Dave and Doug Byrnes and Brandon and Sean Jackson; two brothers, Darren Elkins and Eddie Highsmith; one sister, Renee Highsmith; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness, 3734 N. 25th St. Mattox-Wood is in charge of arrangements.
