SHELBURN — Jeffrey Allen Ward, 51, of Shelburn, went home to be with the Lord at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1957, in Sullivan, to Jim Ward and Betty June Kistner Ward.
He is survived by his parents, and uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jeff had preached the Gospel in several area churches, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was employed by Owen Valley Chevrolet Dealership in Spencer. He also had worked as a coal miner for 10 years.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera, with Pastors Jeffrey Harpole and Jim Quick officiating. Interment will be in Little Flock Cemetery. Viewing will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the church. Mattox-McHugh Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
