Hervey Max Miller, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Union Hospital. He was born in Bridgeton, on April 10, 1921, to Frank Miller and Hettie Barnes Miller. He retired in 1981 from Ethyl Visqueen after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie McCoskey Miller; and one sister, Catherine Baker of Clinton; one nephew, Douglas McCoskey and wife Irene; four nieces, Anita Pancake and husband David, Ellen McKee and husband Leland, Judy Shank, and Martha McCoskey; a great-niece, Kristi Johnson; and two great-great-nephews, Hunter Johnson and Landon Mundy. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Miller; a nephew, David McCoskey; and one great-nephew, Brandon Mundy.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with the Rev. Ralph Davis officiating. Burial will be at WestLawn Cemetery in Farmersburg. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
