Polly Ann Hampton Frakes
CENTER POINT — Polly Ann Hampton Frakes, 80, of Center Point, passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Union Hospital. She was born in Sullivan County, on Sept. 20, 1929, to William H. Hampton and Ina Leach Hampton.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Dean Frakes, Terry Lee Frakes and William Frakes and wife Allison; and five daughters, Sara Hendrickson and husband Joe, Rita Thomas and husband Jim, Linda Frakes, Vicki Frakes, and Cathy Elkins. Also surviving are 42 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Frakes Jr.; a son, James Lee Frakes; and a grandson; Michael Copeland.
Funeral services will be at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Don Ransford and Dick Mcshanog officiating. Burial is in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, in the funeral home.
