FAIRBANKS — Michael Wayne Grabbe, 53, of Fairbanks, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 5, 2009 in Union Hospital. He was born in Davies County, Ind. on Aug. 31, 1956 to Wayne and Jeanne (Hancock) Grabbe and they still survive.
His wife is Roxann (Hubbell) Grabbe to whom he has been married since Nov. 18, 1978. He has one sister, Sharon Moore.
He was an employee of the former Pfizer and Company where he was a manufacturing operator and most recently worked in the service department of Burger Chrysler-Plymouth of Terre Haute. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
He also was a member of the Fairbanks Missionary Baptist Church where his visitation will on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Gary Walters, Frank Bullock, Fred Flesher, Daryl Drake, Dale Boyll, and Brian Pohlman. Funeral services will be at the church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Gilaspy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
