Loran F. Basden, 90, of West Lafayette, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born March 26, 1919, in Shelburn, to Hershall and Gerthie (Walters) McCammon.
She was a former member and Sunday School teacher at First Assembly of God Church in Terre Haute. She loved any activity having to do with crafts including painting and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Carolyn S. Easton; and several siblings.
Survivors include her two children, Jack Basden and wife Kathie of West Lafayette, and Bonnie Basden of West Terre Haute; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., with Pastor Dick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is noon until services Friday.
