JASONVILLE — Robert William Edmondson, 46, of Jasonville, died at 11:03 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 2009, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born Nov. 27, 1962, in Greene County, to Robert W. Edmondson and Betty Z. Billingsly Edmondson.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Edmondson, whom he married Nov. 27, 1988; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Shawn McKee of Jasonville; stepsons, Jesse Reel and his wife Amber, and Brent Reel, all of Jasonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diann and Ron Barber of Jasonville, Darlene and Clarence Holmes of Terre Haute, and Rebecca and Alan Duchacek of Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kathy Edmondson of Jasonville; grandchildren, Harley McKee, Mackenzie McKee, and Cecil McKee; four stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: and an infant sister, Debra Sue Edmondson.
Robert was a graduate of Worthington High School, and a member of Jasonville First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1987-1991. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He enjoyed his dogs and being in the outdoors.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Robert's life will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lawton Street Christian Church. There will be no services.
