Raymond Wesley Corey, 54, of Bloomfield, and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Oct. 31, 2009, in Clay County. He was born in Terre Haute, to James W. Corey and Bernice Weil Corey, on Sept. 18, 1955. He was a former member of Union Christian Church, and worked at FedEx Ground and Home Delivery for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his father; his wife, Tanya Kazpova Corey; two sons, Jonathan Corey and Michael Corey, both of Terre Haute; a stepson, Arsenci Vasileff; three sisters, Janice Corey Heleine and her husband John of Terre Haute, Debbie Wilson and her husband Duane of Paris, Ill., and Becky Vincent and her husband Mark of Brazil; one brother, Doug Corey of Terre Haute; three nieces, Christie Wilson Storm, Kristen Vincent and Tiffany Rutledge; and four nephews, David Heleine, Christopher Heleine, Patrick Wilson and Hunter Vincent.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., in Terre Haute, with the Revs. Mark Miller and Tim Fagg officiating. Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Corey family for expenses.
