Mozelle Walters, 79, of West Terre Haute passed away at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 21, 2009 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. She was born Sept. 6, 1930 in Bennettsville, S. C. to Zell Thompson and Lucy Williams Thompson.
Her husband, Charles H. Walters whom she married on Nov. 22, 1947 in Bennettsville preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1996. Survivors include: a daughter, Lucy Miller and her husband, Ron of Rosedale, Ind.; five sons, Mike Walters of Houston, Charles Walters and Ted Walters both of West Terre Haute; Tony Walters and Terry Walters both of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a brother, Bobby Thomson and two sisters, Patsy Kerns and Shirley Jones all of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her mother.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethesda Memorial Park. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
