TERRE HAUTE —
Maxine LaVerna Noble, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Terre Haute, on June 20, 1929, to Albert Lowe and Stella Rice Lowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance A. Noble; one sister, Irene High; and seven brothers, Wayne, Herschel, Homer, Ernie, Albert Jr., Manford, and Edgar Lowe.
She is survived by two sons, James Noble, and David Noble and wife Becky; one brother, Alfred “Abe” Lowe; and a brother-in-law, Ed Noble and wife Mary; as well as 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with her nephew, Dr. Steve Lowe officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home.
