Julia E. Jones
MILLINGTON — Julia E. Jones of Millington, Tenn., passed away Aug. 6, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Jones loved bowling, was an avid gardener, and a wonderful cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George and a son, Sammy Matherly.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Jeff) Hosse, Richard (Teresea) Jones, Judy (Larry) Crews, Kimberly (Jamie) Cook and Tom (Shirley) Jeffers; grandchildren, Michael and Amber Weinberg, Kathryn Hosse, Stephanie and Heather Crews, Ashley, Angie and Nikki Jones, and Troy and Tommy Jeffers; great-granddaughter, Audrey Weinberg; sisters, Carol Dopher, Norma and Betty Dean; brother, Tom White. She also leaves her honorary child, Buster the dog.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Anchor Baptist Church. Any memorials may be made to Anchor Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 8054 Nelson St. Millington, TN 38053. Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel assisted with the arrangements.
