Marilyn Benefiel, 53, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Terre Haute, on Jan. 8, 1957, to Charles Dishon and Doris Wyman Dishon.
She is survived by three sons, Billy Benefiel and wife Nicole, Sean Benefiel and wife Rebecca, and Christopher Benefiel and wife Melissa; and one daughter, Brandy Mitchell. Also surviving are four brothers, Jerry Dishon, Lloyd Dishon, Robert Dishon, and Chuck Dishon; one sister, Jeanine Dishon; as well as four grandchildren, Jadelynn Benefiel, Jamesie Benefiel, Josie Benefiel, and Jennifer Mitchell.
She was a homemaker, loved her kids and grandkids, and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. In keeping with her wishes, there are no services, and cremation has been arranged. DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of local arrangements.
