MARSHALL, Ill. — Carol Loraine Bender, 87, of Dayton, Ohio, and formerly of Marshall, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at her home. She retired from National Cash Register in Dayton. She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Anderson Township, in Clark County, the daughter of Fred Bender and Anna Timmerman Bender.
Survivors include a brother, Carl Bender of Dennison; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Services in honor of her life will be 3 p.m. CST Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home, 314 S. Sixth St. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial is in Marshall Cemetery.
