BLOOMINGDALE — Norman F. Peschke, 84, of Bloomingdale, Ind. passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009. He was born March, 29, 1925, in Hammond, Ind. the son of Alvin and Rosetta Orsburn Peschke. He married Rosalie Fary on March 19, 1945, in Hammond. He served in the U.S. Navy and had an associate degree from Purdue University at Calumet. He retired in 1987 from Alcan as an Electrical Engineer and was formerly a Building Inspector for Parke County.
He was a member of Bloomingdale Lodge 127 F&AM;, Hedges Chapter 51 OES, International Union of Operating Engineers 150, Hammond, Indiana Sports Car Club of America, and former member of the Parke County Antique Tractor Power Club.
Survivors include, wife, Rosalie Peschke of Bloomingdale; one son, Mark (Rosemary) Peschke of Camden, Ind.; three granddaughters, Sara Flora of Columbus, Ga., Jennifer Walsh of Florida and Jaclyn Peschke of Leesburg, Fla.; one great-grandson, Tony.
He was preceded in death by one son, Norman; two brothers and one sister.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, in Barnes and Rice Funeral Home in Rockville. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
