SULLIVAN — Erma K. Roberts Abrams, 76, of Merom, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her residence. She was born Jan. 22, 1937, in Merom, to Ernest William and Fern Geneva Raley Roberts. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Joe Abrams; one brother, James Roberts; and two sisters, Martha Rose Roberts and Thelma G. Price. Also, two sister-in-laws, Anna Mae Spencer and Carolyn Joyce Dooley; and one brother-in-law, David Abrams.

Survivors include her children, Sheryl (Greg) Richardson and Donna (Bob) Adams, both of Merom, Bradley J. (Tina) Abrams of Graysville, Timothy W. Abrams of Fairbanks and Candice S. (David) Rosebraugh of Merom; two brothers, Alan (Chris) Roberts of Winslow, and Leon (Dawn) Roberts of Merom; one sister-in-law, Barbara Roberts of Anderson; two brother-in-laws, Robert Price of Bicknell, and Ellis (Claire) Abrams of New Hampshire. She also had 11 grandchildren, Kyla Russell, Eric Adams, Crystal Alexander, Cari Drake, Cody Richardson, Caleb Abrams, Michael Rosebraugh, Katie Abrams, Donnie Abrams, Kyle Rosebraugh and Sadie Abrams, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Holmes Memorial Chapel, in Sullivan, with Pastors Bob Thompson and Erich Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Merom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
