TERRE HAUTE — Frank Wesley Killion, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Frank was born in Terre Haute, on Sept. 13, 1926, to Wesley Killion and Tishia Eldridge Killion. Frank was retired from the Terre Haute Fire Department and Terre Haute Gas Company.

He was a graduate of Tech High School and a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II and a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Korea. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972, Social Lodge 86, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, and was an avid woodworker and gardner.

Frank is survived by his wife, Margaret “Betty” Sullivan Killion, whom he married, Jan. 16, 1953, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in less than four weeks. He also is survived by one son, James W. Killion of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mary Richmond of Terre Haute and Cathy Salerno and her husband John of Los Angeles; one brother, Carl Killion and his wife Virginia of Pittsburg, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Sedora and Shirley Killion, both of Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Daniel Richmond, Paul Salerno, and Samuel Salerno; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter Killion; and two sisters, Vivian Beard and Louise Coons.

Services are Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St., in Terre Haute. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and from noon until service time on Wednesday. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. On line condolences may be made at:
