Van was preceded in death by his father, Ben Roland Desrocher (1987); and a sister, Valerie Ruth Desrocher (2012).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kathy Stienstra. Words cannot express our gratitude for the many years of compassion and commitment she provided to Van and our family. We also wish to thank the staff of Royal Oaks who truly were family to him.
