TERRE HAUTE — Patricia A. Essex “Pat”, 90, of Terre Haute, went to be with the Lord at 7:50 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. She was born to Robert and Martha Stafford. She was secretary and treasurer of Kuykendall Construction for many years. Pat enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles A. Essex; and son, James A. Essex. She is survived by her children, Stephen Kuykendall and his wife Bobbie of Terre Haute, William Essex and his wife Kathie of Terre Haute, Richard Essex and his wife Dianne of Maqolia, Texas, and Melody Burns of Shelbyville; grandchildren Angela Kuykendall, fiancé Randy Marlow, Rachelle Servis, Travis Essex, Melissa Willard, Kayla Essex, Jason Essex, Brent Essex, Chris Essex, David Essex, Rosanne Haskell, Jamey Kaster, and Charlie Essex; several great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 12 noon at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. Burial will be in Highland Lawn. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time. Online condolences can be made at:
