ROCKVILLE — Pauline L. Tuttle, 93, of Rockville, died at 4:42 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Indiana University Health-Methodist Hospital, in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker. She was born Sept. 20, 1918, in Bridgeton, to the late Floyd Mitchell and Edith Nutgrass Mitchell. Her husband of 43 years, Homer Mearl Tuttle, whom she married Sept. 19, 1941, died June 15, 1985.

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn S. (Richard) Riley of Fort Erie, Canada; one daughter-in-law, Josie Blake of Terre Haute; one brother, Doyne Mitchell of Terre Haute; one sister, Marilyn Payton of Rosedale; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosemary Gilbert on Dec. 1, 2000; one son, Russell E. “Gene” Blake on May 15, 2011; one brother, Charles E. “Lucky” Mitchell on April 4, 2008; and one sister, Geraldine Rigdon in July of 1985.

She was a member of Faith Bible Church.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., with Pastor John Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278, in her memory.
