Volney E. Lamb Jr. - On February 9, 2013, Volney passed away in his home at Las Vegas, Nev. He was born on Dec. 11, 1937, to Volney Lamb Sr. and Marguerite Zink Lamb.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Richmond Lamb of Las Vegas; a daughter, Dr. Michelle Walker of Greenwood, Ind.; and a son, Mike (Dena) Lamb of Braidwood, Ill. Also two granddaughters, Amanda Lamb and Rachel Lamb; and a sister, Marguerite Lamb Marshall of Terre Haute, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Volney had a lengthy career in radio starting at WBOW in Terre Haute later moving to WIRL in Peoria, Ill., followed by a Quad City Station and retiring from Chicago Satellite Station.
Cremation has been chosen.
