Doris C. Loughmiller

BRAZIL — BRAZIL — Doris C. Loughmiller, 88, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. She was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Brazil, to George and Mary Hoch Chamberlain, and was a 1943 Van Buren High School graduate.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Loughmiller; four brothers, Joe, Harold, Earl and Chris Chamberlain; and two sisters, Lucille Corbin and Thelma Kumpf.

Survivors include her sons, Charles and wife Martha, Wayne and Ricki, and William and Sue, all of Brazil; daughter, Carol and husband Jim Anderson of Brazil; grandchildren, Darrin (Holly) and Robert C. (Stacey Bowles) Loughmiller, all of Brazil, and Brian (Lorrie) Anderson of Round Rock, Texas, Chris Loughmiller of Brazil, Lora (Brian) Hofmann of Seelyville, Mandy (Carson) Ramey of Baltimore, Jon (Sarah) Russell of Culpepper, Va., and Megan (Jeremy) Palm of Brazil; great-grandchildren, Tyler Loughmiller, Paige Loughmiller, Avery Loughmiller, Prestan Loughmiller, Brooklyn Pitsenbarger, Hayden Bowles, and Noah and Jonas Palm, all of Brazil, Liam and Miles Ramey, Baltimore, and Eve, Emma and Judah Russell, Culpepper.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 13, 2013, at Moore Funeral Home, 142 N. Washington St., in Brazil, with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Clay County Human Society. Online condolences may be expressed at:
