Pauline Anderson Lewis, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Nov. 28, 1943, in Vigo County, to Everett A. Anderson and Kathleen Shears Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil E. Lewis; brothers, Donald, Ronald, and Jerry Anderson; and sisters, Alice, Betty, and Carol. Pauline is survived by daughters, Diana Layman and husband Joe, Karen Deckard and husband Frank “Skip”, and Rose Lewis; sisters, Helen Atkinson, Pat Griswold, Linda Crowley and husband Jim, and Janet Joseph; a brother, David Anderson; nine grandchildren, Natasha Minns, Amber Sharp, Brian Sharp, Crystal Lewis, Hannah Deckard, Hope Deckard, Skylar McNeil, Katlynn McNeil, and Casey McNeil; five great-grandchildren, Brady Heckman, Maegan Long, Alexandria Sharp, Austyn Sharp, and Aallyan Sharp; and various nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be today, Feb. 8, 2013, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. with the service Saturday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Merrillyn Smith. On line condolences can be made at: www.mattoxwood.com
