CLINTON — Morris G. Sanders Jr., 76, of Clinton, died at 4:40 p.m. Monday, Jan, 28, 2013, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. He was born Aug. 18, 1936, to Morris G. Sanders Sr. and Anna Mae Johnson Sanders. He was a retired machinist for Ivy Hill in Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one son, Morris G. Sanders III.
He loved antiquing, woodworking, going to auctions and fishing.
He is survived by his mother of Clinton; his wife, Dolores Souza Sanders; three daughters, Gail and Leonard Harriett of Orange, Calif., Deborah and Brad Hendrix, and Barbara Sanders, all of Clinton; six grandchildren, Charles Shepard, Brandy Sanders, Caitlin Harriett, Brandon Hendrix, Jarrett Hendrix and Savannah Hatfill; and one brother, John Sanders of Clinton.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Frist Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Caulkins officiating. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 12 noon until services Friday.
