TUSCON, Ariz. —
Linda Dye Roesch, 65, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2013, following a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born June 24, 1947, in California, to Marilyn Sue (McNaught) Dye and William Jock Wilson.
She was a graduate of Wiley High School and an avid poet and creative writer. Linda worked at WTWO Channel 2 News for many years writing commercials and stories. Many knew her as their favorite waitress at Western Ribeye. She loved IU basketball and going to the Indy 500. Most of all, she loved her children.
She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Rebecca Wiedenhaefer.
Survivors include her mother and brother, Nick Dye, both of Riverside, Calif.; brothers Tim (Anna) Wilson of Canton, Ga.; and Mike (Lori) Wilson of Apple Valley, Minn.; daughters Heather (Steve) Whitaker of Fishers; Hollee Tanner of Ft. Worth, Texas; Hickory (Paul) Allen of Osceola, Ind.; and Nicole (Steve) Gossett of Terre Haute; and sons Scott Roesch of Ft. Worth, Texas; and Zachary Roesch of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Halie and Hannah Whitaker, Ethan, Sophie, Ashton and Colten Allen, and Olivia Rose Roesch; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cremation is scheduled with Hudgel’s Swan Funeral Home in Tucson, Ariz. A private memorial will be held by family at a later date. Those who wish, may make a donation to a charity of their choice in her memory.
