TERRE HAUTE —
Mary Ann (Miller) White, of Terre Haute, passed away on Dec. 30, 2012, at 10:08 a.m. She was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Rosedale, to Howard Tilman and Leona Miller. She graduated from Rosedale High School. After high school she moved to Terre Haute, where she has resided for more than 70 years.
She worked at Miller Parrot Bakery during the war. She also worked for Fairmont Foods, the former Chesty Potato Chips Factory. She retired from Fairmont Foods.
Surviving are a brother, Melvin Dale Miller of Terre Haute; she also has two sons, Max C. White Jr. of Staunton, and Tim A. White of Terre Haute, both are Vietnam veterans and former Marines. She has a daughter, Leona Jane Ann Woods of Terre Haute; several grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with private burial to follow. Online condolences can be made at:
