Michael Lee Haring, 67, of Terre Haute died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a brick mason at the Putnamville Correctional Facility. He was born on November 14, 1944 in Terre Haute to Leroy Haring and Miriam Layton Haring.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joan King Haring; his mother, Miriam Haring; three sons, Todd Haring of Brazil, Shaughn Haring and his wife Tami of Terre Haute and Brad Haring of Terre Haute; a daughter, Tifani Baker and her husband Jon of Marion, Illinois; a brother, Dr. Mark Haring of Terre Haute; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Janet King and Kathryn King; a brother-in-law, Joe King and his wife Becky; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Haring; a grandson, Nathan Haring; a sister-in-law, Leslie Haring; and a brother-in-law, Tom King .
Michael was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #4 for 20 years and the Brazil American Legion for 27 years. He had served in the Indiana National Guard and was the Brickmason Foreman at Putnamville Correctional Facility for 24 years
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2012, in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street with Father John Hollowell officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 17, 2012 in the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
