Margaret M. McCullough, 81, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on July 24, 1931, in Brazil, Ind., to Leo and Veronica (Bussing) Brunette.
She married Orin R. McCullough, on Nov. 25, 1954, in Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, and he survives. For over 15 years she worked as a secretary for Bemis Bag Company. She was an active member at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Terre Haute. In her spare time she volunteered for the Birth Right Organization, Terre Haute and was a tutor at the Vigo County Public Library. Margaret enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Surviving Margaret is her husband, Orin; children, Mike (Kelly) McCullough, of Perrysburg, Elizabeth McCullough, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Kim McCullough, of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren: Nicholas and Lucas McCullough and Conner and Gabrielle Lindholm; brothers, Clem Brunette, of Brazil, Robert (Gladys) Brunette, of Burlington, Ill., Jimmy Welch and Tommy Welch, both of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Ed Brunette and Brother Vincent Brunette.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, with a Rosary service being conducted at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Terre Haute. Officiating will be Father Rick Ginther. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum. Considerations for memorial contributions are in form of Mass Intentions in Memory of Margaret or Alzheimer's Association.
