TERRE HAUTE —
Catherine Jones-Bailey, 73, joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Chicago. Catherine was born in Terre Haute, to Lucille and Willie B. Jones. She enjoyed factory work which she retired from in Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucity Jones; her father, Elder Willie B. Jones; and three brothers, Leandrew, Johnny, and Alfred Jones. She leaves to mourn, her stepmother, Edith Mae Jones; five sisters, Irene Harris, Bessie Greenwood, Natalie Jones-Bonds, Wilma and Celeste Jones; five brothers, Roscoe, Willie Jr., Ira, Maurice, and Stanley Jones; one stepbrother, Frank Miles (Adele); her children, Michael, Russell, and Sonia Bailey; and several grandchildren.
Services are noon Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Leak and Sons Funeral Home, 7838 S. Cottage Grove, in Chicago.
