Agnes L. Havens, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 4, 1922, to James Mathew Baker and Opal Day Baker. She was retired from Columbia Records.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Rice; one son, James Marty Havens; one sister, Mary Catherine Pastorius; five grandchildren, Jody, Dusty, and Aaron Havens, Kimberly Rice Cavanagh, and Timothy Rice; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James C. Havens; three sons, Kim Ray Havens, Bruce Lee Havens, and Tracy Dean Havens; two sisters, Beatrice Jones and Violet Webb; and one brother, Garland Baker.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette Ave., with the Rev. David Boothe officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until services. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
