Jesse Hoke

Brazil — Jesse Hoke, 22, of Brazil, joined his dad, Aug. 8, 2012, following a motorcycle accident in Terre Haute. Jesse was born Oct. 22, 1989, in Clay County the son of Jeffrey Scott and Sarah A. (Batchelor) Hoke. He graduated from Northview High School with the class of 2008. Jesse had worked for The Pool Shop, McDonalds and had been working as a “swine technician” for Lyon Farms for the past several years.  

Jesse spent a lot of time riding motorcycles, ATV’s and Jeeps. He was also a talented back yard mechanic.

He was a member of the Wabash Valley APA Billiards and played out of the VFW in Brazil, Ind. for the Crazy 8’s.  He was also a member of ABATE and the Slo Pokes Crew.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father Jeff Hoke and an uncle Larry Hoke.

He leaves behind his brother, Derek Hoke; mother, Sarah Hoke (Bill Carrico); fiancé Jennifer Price, aunts and uncles: Elmo Hoke of Carbon, Cindy Baker of Arizona, Rick Hoke of Brazil, Mona Keyt (Russ) of Lena, Jeanie Lalen of Seelyville, Donetta Hinton (Joe) of Bowling Green, Mary Ann Batchelor of Reelsville, Pamela Smith (Pete) of Brazil, Nora (Steve) Caugaya of Brazil, Susan Winkler (David) of Knightsville, Donny Batchelor (Teresa) of Carbon, Floyd Batchelor of Bowling Green; God Parents, Joe and Shannon Sanders of Brazil as well as many extended family members and very close friends.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 3 to 8 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Monday at 1 p.m.. Friends are welcome to join Jesse’s family on his final ride to Calcutta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Financial Bank C/O 7995 N.
