TERRE HAUTE —
The Rev. Alice Gemmecke, 89, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012. She was born on Nov. 9, 1922, to Harry Watson and Jessie (Beecher) Watson.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Chrisman and Angela Frank; five sons. David, Don, Robert, John, and Bill Gemmecke; and one sister, Norma Horton.
Memorial services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Nancy Sedletzeck Followell and VFW 972 Honor Guard officiating.
