Linton —
Wanda Mae Wright, 69, passed away on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, in Loma Linda, Calif. Born in Linton, Ind., and attended Linton-Stockton High School. She graduated from Indiana University.
Wanda was a nuclear medicine technician at Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, Calif., for over 30 years. After retiring Wanda had her own business working for various hospitals in the San Bernardino area. She was an avid golfer and a member of San Bernardino Ladies golf club.
She is survived by her brother, Ed Wright of Los Lunas, N.M.; sister, Becky Wright-Leach of Yucaipa, Calif.; and nephew, Jonathan Leach of Yucaipa. Predeceased by her parents, Seth E. Wright and Helen L. Wright.
Wanda had a very positive outlook on life and was loved by all who knew her. Memorial will be held at Preston and Simons Mortuary, 3358 Mission Inn Ave., in Riverside, Calif., Saturday Oct. 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make a donation to the charity of your choice in Wanda’s name.
