Darrell Richardson, 43, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, in Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Jan. 31, 1969, in Terre Haute, to Charles Sholar and Beverly Richardson. Darrell worked in the body shop business for many years. Vehicles were his passion, with everything from street stock racing to dirt track racing. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying a good day fishing any time that he could.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by two daughters, Charnell Richardson of Terre Haute and Arianna Suggs of Indianapolis; five brothers, Michael Richardson, Ricky, Stacey and Morris Sholar, and Steve Richardson; one sister, Cheryl Sholar; a very special aunt, Velnora Jordan; and his best friends, Richie Hawkins and J.T. Brewer. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews; and loving friends and family.
Services for Darrell will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at True Gospel Tabernacle Church, 2200 E. Wabash Ave., with the Bishop Quentin Isabell officiating.
