--- — Della Virginia DeWitt, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at 11:05 a.m. in Union Hospital.

She was born Dec. 30, 1930, in Terre Haute to Virgil Euartte and Nellie Euartte Casad. Della lived and worked in Kirkville, New York from 1968 until she moved back to Terre Haute in 2003. She retired from AT&T/ Western Electric in New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Delbert Euartte and Otto Nicoson, both of Terre Haute.

Della is survived by her children, Charles E. DeWitt of Fredrick, MD and Vicky L. Farrell of Terre Haute; sister, Beverly Marlowe of Paris, Ill.; brother, Michael Woods of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Kyle Andrews will be officiating. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Ind. 47804 was entrusted with arrangements.
