Etta Mae Montgomery, 67, of Terre Haute, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, in Regional Hospital. Etta was born Nov. 16, 1944, in Providence, Ky., to Ed Thomas and Margaret Ann Hill. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, and was a retiree of Hercules/AET with more than 20 years served. She was a very spiritual person, she loved the Lord above all. She had a great heart, loved her family dearly, was a caring person, and was a mother and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margie McConnell and Judy Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Montgomery; two sons, Bryan Montgomery and Richard Montgomery; one daughter, Tracy Pruden and her husband Russ; one stepdaughter, Darla Montgomery; and one stepson, Deone Montgomery. She also is survived by one brother, John Finch; two sisters, Melrose McNary and Doris Rice; three grandchildren, Alexandria Montgomery, Andre Pruden, and Bryanna Montgomery; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, family, and loved ones.

As were Etta’s wishes, cremation has been chosen with a memorial service to take place at a later date. Greiner Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
