Jane Margason, 63, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Union Hospital. She was born March 14, 1949 in Terre Haute to Charles W. Margason and Imogene Cooprider Margason. Jane retired from the Vigo County Public Library where she served for many years as the manager of the West Terre Haute Branch.

Jane is survived by a sister, Jan Margason Perry of Covington, KY; a brother, Jack Margason and his wife Cheryl of Terre Haute; a niece, Laura Margason of Terre Haute; a nephew, Michael W. Margason and his wife Lori of Indianapolis; a great niece, Emma Grace Margason; and a great nephew William Allen Margason. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Wayne Perry.

Jane was a member of the First Baptist Church of Terre Haute.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 in First Baptist Church of Terre Haute, 4701 Poplar, with Reverend Bernie Jackson officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
